Saltwater Boat Rod Blanks
Blanks that aren’t in stock - delivery is between 2-6 weeks depending on at what point during the monthly US stock order cycle that your order is received. You will be advised by return.
We supply a range of E-Glass and composite blanks from Pac Bay USA. The images are of the blanks being put through punishing tests in Kenya and Oban and show a variety of rods twinned with aluminium straight and curved butts. You can be confident of tackling any fish that swims with this range of blanks. As well as the saltwater blanks shown here, there are also some blanks in the LURE section that are perfect for exciting, light line inshore fishing for Bream, Bass and Pollock.

30/60 or 50/80 Blank, CLB2S Aluminium Butt with gimbal - Our recommendation. This system puts the reel lower down putting less strain on the forearms and brings the fulcrum point closer to the angler. The shorter length blank exerts more lift and tires the angler less, particularly when used with a kidney harness and a lower fitting rod belt opposed to the commonly used groin butt pads.
