Minima guides are set to revolutionise the way freshwater and lure rods are built. Up to 30% lighter than equivalent sized ceramic guides, the internal ring diameter is also much larger, reducing friction for increased distance.
Update - They are now being used by fixed spool tournament casters who have increased their distances due to their lightness and large diameter for size. I wouldn’t recommend them for actual beach fishing use but for distance carp fishing, they are perfect.
The TiCH finish is perfectly suited to todays subtley finished blanks.
The ring is stainless steel and double swaged to lock it in place.
